A thriving sector

As complex as the of role the event’s organizers may be, it still represents  only a part of the job: therefore, the consistent growth of the event must be attributed to the exhibitors, the visitors, specialists, public institutions, trade associations, the media and trade delegations, in short, the supply chain in the widest possible sense of the word.
Autopromotec 2017 ended with yet another success. Careful, though: yet another success for our exhibitors, since the remarkable increase in the number of visitors during this year’s event in Bologna is first and foremost a victory for our companies who, from the height of their world leadership and their consistently competitive and innovative offer, have been able to attract a growing number of automotive aftermarket professionals from all over the world. An important success for the entire automotive industry, which shows how the whole supply chain is back in shape, and captures a positive and proactive sentiment from all the sector’s operators. A highly significant fact, especially since most of the companies involved are strongly export-oriented, with component manufacturers that traditionally export about 50% of their production, and 80% in the case of garage equipment manufacturers. A sector that is showing great signs of recovery, and promises interesting opportunities for the future.
As the event’s organizers, we had the task of facilitating, in every possible way, profitable meetings between the various players in the sector as well as the emergence of new business opportunity helping the sector to find its direction through the fast changes taking place. A delicate task indeed since we are living through  a true technological revolution in the automotive industry, with maintenance becoming more and more predictive causing important repercussions for the aftermarket. To make only one example, all ADAS systems will have to guarantee maximum reliability, so in the future the role of driver assistance systems will be increasingly decisive.
For this reason, if on the one hand we wanted to propose specific technological contents  - Workshop 4.0 - as a focus to facilitate the diffusion of information on current industrial trends, on the other, with the same commitment, we will continue to focus, for the 2019 edition of Autopromotec, on further developments and cutting-edge innovations in the automotive industry, keeping the excellence of our country’s companies right in the center of the picture, along with the quality of the exhibition and in-depth analysis during conferences “branded” AutopromotecEDU.
As complex as our role may be, it still represents, as we like to point out, only a part of the job: therefore, the consistent growth of the event must be attributed to the exhibitors, the visitors, specialists, public institutions, trade associations, the media and trade delegations, in short, the supply chain in the widest possible sense of the word. And with their cooperation we are already laying the foundations of the next trade show that - in such a fast changing world - is already around the corner.
