One year away from the next international garage equipment and aftermarket exhibition, the numbers of pre-accessions are on the rise as some of the latest products are unveiled: the floor plan
Waiting for the 2019 edition of Autopromotec, this year started on a high note as far as the international garage equipment and aftermarket exhibition is concerned. In the first two months of the year, in fact, there was a significant increase in pre-accessions applications for the event. And this thanks in part to the recent revamp of the Bologna Exhibition Centre, including a total reconstruction of halls 29 and 30, with a view to creating a state-of-the-art exhibition centre.
The complete make-over of the fair grounds will inevitably produce a number of changes in the floor plan of the next event’s layout, especially for sectors such as diagnostics, lifting and bodywork. The diagnostic sector will be relocated in hall 30 and partly in the adjacent hall 29. Vehicle lifts will find adequate space in hall 14 creating, with the adjoining hall 19, a single macro-sector dedicated to tire / workshop / lifting equipment. The bodywork sector, following the strong increase in exhibitors during the previous edition, will be expanded in a section of Hall 29, directly connected to Hall 26, traditionally dedicated to bodywork equipment.
The new floor plan provides an immediate graphic overview of the new layout: Hall 29, with almost 6.500sqm. of exhibition space will be considerably smaller compared to the pre-existing structure and will be built on the no longer usable Area 44; the new hall 30, with an area of over 12,700sqm, will incorporate the space previously occupied by the old halls 29 and 30 and a part of the adjacent ground.
