The award was given by Automotive Magazine in Lisbon. The reason: "Quality and efficiency in the organisation of the event and in the reception of exhibitors"
While waiting for the 29th edition of Autopromotec, the organisers of the biennial international automotive aftermarket trade show flew to Lisbon to receive the award for the best fair of 2019 in Europe, placing ahead of the International Motor Show in Geneva, Motortec Automechanika Madrid and the IAA in Frankfurt. The award was given by the Portuguese Automotive Magazine based on a survey conducted by interviewing exhibitors who participated in various European fairs.
The criteria used by the magazine to choose the winner concerned aspects such as the cost of participation, the number of visitors to the event, the size of the booths, accessibility, cleanliness, professionalism of the staff and the presence of adequate infrastructure to welcome exhibitors both within the fairgrounds and in the city. "According to our research, the organisers of Autopromotec were able to offer excellent conditions to both exhibitors and visitors, meeting all their needs", explained Eduardo Gaspar, editor of Automotive Magazine, "and that's why we chose it as the best trade show of the year".
"I am very pleased to have received this award because it shows how the commitment and professionalism that the Autopromotec team puts into organising the fair every time is appreciated by exhibitors and visitors", commented Renzo Servadei, CEO of Autopromotec. "We are already at work on the 2021 edition, adding a number of new developments related to trends that are affecting the automotive sector".
The award ceremony was held at the Cidade do Futebol, home of the Portuguese national football team.
