Rewarding the best start-ups in the automotive sector, offering them a showcase of visibility in two key international events: this is Futurmotive Award, the award born from the collaboration between We Make Future and Futurmotive – Expo and Talks. Two exhibitions that meet in a Middle-Earth made up of innovation and technology. Because while addressing different, albeit complementary, audiences, Futurmotive and WMF share a common focus on new technologies and an interest in promoting and bringing emerging realities into contact with the business world.
We Make Future – International Trade Fair and Festival on Tech and Digital Innovation, scheduled at the Rimini Fair from 15 to 17 June, has become in more than 10 editions a privileged observatory on all the latest technological trends in the digital world and beyond, a platform dedicated to professionals of the most diverse disciplines where they can meet, share and acquire new professional skills. A goal shared by Futurmotive – Expo & Talks, the Autopromotec spin-off event which will take place at Bologna Fiere from 16 to 18 November and aimed at the entire mobility system: through a series of high-profile meetings and conferences and through an exhibition space where you can "touch" the best innovations of the automotive and aftermarket industry dedicated to the ecological transition, Futurmotive intends to offer its public a real showcase on the mobility of the future. In this setting, a space dedicated to startups could not be missing: who better than a young, emerging entrepreneurial reality can look at the future with a curious and attentive gaze, shedding light on corners still left in the semi-darkness?
Futurmotive Award was born from these assumptions, the initiative that wants to reward the best business intuitions dedicated to mobility, providing a real opportunity to get in touch with the most consolidated realities in the automotive and aftermarket sector. What's at stake? The opportunity, for the four best selected projects, to present themselves on the We Make Future stage first, and to have a dedicated exhibition space during Futurmotive – Expo & Talks in November. Applying is very simple: just fill in the form that is already published on the WMF website, describing your project in detail: for this there is time until May 20th. Once all the applications have been collected, a specially appointed commission – made up, among others, of some members of AICA, the Italian Association of Automotive Equipment Manufacturers – will select the shortlist of four winners.
